Don't do it....

I have lived in the complex for three years due to the convience to work but it is worth the extra time in the car for a commute compared to this. Trust me, the other reviewers on this site are correct about the management staff there. The management staff changes every five to six months and if that is not bad enough they tend to change the water billing company too. Which in turn causes a major issue with rent payments and how those are applied along with telling residents to guess what their water bill will be but you better guess on the high end since if you don't you will receive a letter stating that you owe the difference on top of a fee for being late.

The complex has not had any renovation work done to it in years so the pool is cracked on the bottom, the paint is chipping off the buildings, and the walkways to the apartments themselves have broken lights and trash stains throughout. The gates to the property complex were broken for more then two months and when finally fixed required the residents to come in to receive a new gate opener which would be fine if the office didn't close at six and you don't get home till seven. You are stuck outside the gate then until someone lets you in.

If you are a person who is not home often then this would be a great apartment for you since it tends to be loud on weekends and cars are broken into regularly. Whatever you do get either a garage or a covered spot if you do decide to live here since parking is a nightmare.

I would highly suggest looking elsewhere.

Just in case anyone is reviewing this far back in the history or this complex, you can be sure that the complaints listed here are old, old news. The property is immaculate since new ownership occurred in early 2004, and the staff are friendly, responsive and tend to stay on much, much longer. The gates did have a problem caused by lightening, which persisted for a while but they have been fixed and operating for a long time now, with few interruptions. I know of no problems with car breakins, but I would agree with securing a garage if you have a nice car anywhere in Dallas. Very happy here.

again i must reply with i have been a victim of both garage break in and vehicle break in in the past year, also spoke to another women whose boyfriend had his truck broken into on the lot around the same time last year, my vehicle was broken into in my garage this year... just because we have new management doesnt mean everything is fixed, again i was told we hav security that patrols when i came to look before i moved in over 3 years ago...never once seen anyone that resembles security yet.but yes the apartments are nice inside, the new management is nice , we just need to keep the crime down.and i know i am not the only one it has happened too.

I have lived here since the complex opened. I know for a fact that besides a professional security service patrol, there has always been at least 2 or more policmen resideing in the complex, one of whom, Kevin, is employed by the complex to routinely check for security problems (including lighting) and to respond to security complaints (like disturbances at the pool at night). Other staff maintenance employees rotate "on call" any called in problems that occur at night. Cars in open parking spaces are a target everywhere. The gates do not keep unwanted thieves from following other cars in and of course the fire laws prohibit any restriction from they're leaving. The fense is at the legal limit and cannot prevent a determined thief from scaling it to steal a car. The best protection is a locked garage, which is readily available at a reasonable rate at this complex. Crime watch and prevention, which includes informing management, is eveyone's responsibility, and if everyone does their part the community reflects it. This one is head and shoulders above many that I've lived in.
