I have been living here for a few months now. Its a nice place, apartments are spacious and well-maintained, very well priced. Management is nice and courteous.
Just a couple things that have bothered me since I have moved in... at any given time, you will see more dogs than people around the complex. A couple apartments in my building have more dogs than tenants! You'll see dog hair in the hallways!
Management has a policy to have all dogs on leases, but the policy is rarely followed. You will see 200 lb dogs running loose, lawns have dog poop everywhere.
Dog owners never pick up after their pets.
If you have young children, you can't let them play in the lawns because of the dog waste and some very aggressive dogs.
Second thing, the complex has 3 gates. They are always open. So why does each tenant have remote gate openers' Closed gates may not seem a lot, but they give you a safer feeling.
Overall this is a nice place to live. I would recommend this place to anyone but people who are interested in these apartments should see the whole picture before they decide to move in.

I'm wondering where this person lives on the property. I see a few large animals around but nothing out of the ordinary. And if I were to have an encounter with an aggressive dog, big or little, on or off a leash, I would immediately report it to management. I'm very intolerant of people who do not clean up after their pets, but I'm sure that the awkward job of apprehending the violators "in the act" is a hard thing to police. However, I see the maintenance crew cleaning up the yard areas every morning, and I haven't experienced any real problem of steering clear of the obvious, occasional piles that occur during the course of the day. I walk our dog every day, but I prefer to do it in the grassy areas of the fenced dog runs at each end of the property, where only dog owners have a reason to be. And from my observation, that's the place most owners of large dogs go. That or the public park on the east side of the property. I certainly pick up after my pet, and it's easy to do since there are special recepticles and bags conveniently stationed throughout the property for that purpose. And I encourage others to do so as well. I think there is a pretty good and conscientious group of animal lovers who live here, who are more exposed to the hazards of the abusers than most of the residents. And, as far as the gates are concerned, I've never lived anywhere where they worked for very long at a time. And the gates here are about the same as everywhere else. They're mechanical, they're intensely used, and they're going to break down from time to time. I've routinely had to use my remote to gain entry over the 3 years we've lived here, so they can't be broken down all the time. But the person who posted this complaint has only lived her for a few months, so he or she has only had a short time frame to judge the situation. As for me, overall, I think this is a great place to live and our little Corky loves it here too.

i have lived here for three years now going on four. i too do not like the uncontrolled dogs let to do their business on their own because it means 1 a dog is loose without owner and 2 no owner to clean up its mess. i see this a lot especially in my own building where i have seen tenants so lazy as to just open the door and the dog walks out , down the steps and out to the grass area and then about 2 minutes later is scratching at the door to be let back in. also the other problem i see is the gates, always broken more times than they work, or you see people following or waiting to get in an open gate. when i moved here i was told this place was safe because we have a security officer who does patrol and they said he is also a dallas cop...made me choose this apartment over others just for that reason and the closed gates. now after 3 years and now having been robbed 3 seperate times, once from an ex-employee of the leasing company ( ex because they fired him for stealing from me ), two other times due to faulty doors being so easy to break into. and i also have no compensation the last two times from the leasing company not maintaining the property like it should. they like to take the money which i think is high for the space i rent, and do nothing as far as give back to the community or fix it like it should be....the first year i lived here was different because it was maintained properly, now they dont care, i am only staying because i am trying to buy a house soon and am working on credit issues and down payments, i have not moved out to another apartment because i procrastinate and wait to long to look. i do like the apartments dont get me wrong but i think the staff needs to work on the maintenence issues, the gate issues , security issues. i have talked to other people who have been broken into in the parking lot, and one vehicle was stolen from the parking lot, so where is the security i was told about if these things are happening, oh and this last time i was broken into was in my own garage which is where it was once before when i complained and never had the problem fixed which was about a year ago, the last time i was robbed was done in two stages first they broke the doorknob stole my garage opener and then came back 3 days later and broke into my vehicle using my door opener to get in. the doorknob was replaced but still ineffective to the problem i originally stated a year earlier that was never addressed or fixed. yes i am a little heated right now because all in all i have lost over 5000 in property that hasnt been replaced nor compensated for and i supposedly live in a safe community with a security officer who patrols....by the way i have an alarm that arms automatically on the vehicle in my garage but again you can hear alarms go off all the time here and yet where is that security officer who patrols. but the apartments are great inside, very roomy, nice ammenities....staff needs a little help not an overhaul.angela is always pleasent to speak with.
