No, not what you think. The recent rains washed a real live beaver family down the storm drains and they ended up in one of the two drainage basins at the Andalusian Gate property, where they set up shop, downing trees and building a dam. Who would have thought. Management is trying to find a way to relocate them in the wilderness but in the meantime they're ours to watch. This is such a great place live, no wonder the beavers are making it their home too.

Good news: Rather than call the government agencies that would only trap and kill the beavers, management here paid a private company to capture and repatriate them back to the wilderness. That's what I would expect from my experience here, so Kudo's to a management team that cares. It was fun while it lasted.
