Run Away!!!!!

Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2002
I lived at Andualsian Gate for almost two years, and I can honestly say that what the other two people have wrote about this place is true.
The parking is beyond a joke. You have to pay for a covered parking or a garage if you want a place to park consistently. And if you do get a garage, do not expect the managment office to get involved if there is a car parked in the way of your garage (blocking it so that you cannot enter or leave). You have to take matter into your own hands.
The pool area could be nice, if it was kept up. I do not know how many times this past summer we went to swim and the water was green. You could not see the bottom of the pool. The management office does not seem to care either.
Speaking of the management office, the turnover rate is unbelieveable. After two years, I have seen four different managers and numerous personnel changes. If you call make sure you get that persons name as he/she may not be there the next day.
And yes, maintenance or whoever, entering your apartment with no given notice is very common. Or the office telling you that repairs are going to be done (example: upgrade the cable) for two days, that you must lock up your pets, move everything away from the cable outlets, etc. and it does not happen. Not once but twice. The third time you get a notice telling you that SBC will need access to your apartment for 2 WEEKS!!! Basically they do not know what they are doing.
If something in the apartment needs to be fixed, do not count on that happening within a week. Our microwave blew up, and we called the office to inform them of the problem. Not only were they uncaring, but they were very rude. Sorry to bother you people, but it is your job to ensure happy residents.
They claim to spray for bugs every month, but I did not see that either. We lived on the third floor and we were constantly fighting ants. We could not leave anything sitting on the counter or the sink, or the ants would have been out in full force in no time at all.
These are poorly built apartments too. The master bedroom was 15 degrees warmer in the summer time than the rest of the apartment and 15 colder in the winter time. Poorly constructed. We had ceiling fans in every room, our A/C turned to 76, and for most of the summer our electric bill was close to $200, which for an apt. is ridiculous. We had a two bedroom, and there is not enough closet space for one person, let alone two.
You can basically tell what kind of complex you are living in based upon the number of renewals. Trust me, when leases are up, people are moving. I would venture a guess that the move-out to move-in ratio is probably 5:1. Most apartments can sit empty for anywhere from 3 to 9 months at a time. That pretty much tells you all you need to know about the complex. Live somewhere else. This place is NOT worth the money, or headaches.
