I have lived in Aspen Chase Apartments for 8 months. I regularly watch drug deals happen right in front of my apartment. I have contacted the apartments and the local police on numerous occasions to complain, but still nothing is being done.

This complex is the worst I have ever experienced.....drugs (and everything that comes with that...prostitution, panhandlers, crime), gun fire, theft, "wild west" shoot out at the store directly in front of the apartments, parents that don't take care of their children, beggars, pit bulls....I could go on forever.

When I moved in, there was an entire list of items that needed to be attended to on the "Move-In Condition" form. To date, they have not fixed but one item! When they were asked to come out about the toilet not flushing, they actually said the sanitizer in the back of the tank was the reason that the toilet wouldn't flush. Are you kidding' That was to keep the stench down after the toilet had already quit flushing properly!!!

Then, they promised to exterminate on July 25, 2007, we all received notices. I contacted the exterminators after they failed to show for the appointment, and they had no idea what I was talking about. This is a totally unsanitary complex.

They hired a security company to provide a safe environment....I have never seen them in the complex! The police come and sit regularly - in the office playing on the internet! What a CROCK!!!!

I am moving out soon, and I cannot wait. I wish I could throw a party!


DO NOT MOVE IN TO THIS COMPLEX IF YOU WANT TO PROTECT YOUR FAMILY!!!! THIS IS A HORRIBLE, DRUG-INFESTED, ROACH-INFESTED, CRIME RIDDLED COMPLEX!!!! STAY OUT FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY AND WELL-BEING!

I am currently staying in these nasty apartments too, and everything you are saying is so true. my apartment wasn't ready when it came time for me to move in, so i had to move in just the way it was cause i hired movers and was being charged by the hour and the maintenance truely does suck, because they have fat lazy ass men working for them. my lease will be up soon too and i am going to celebrate. i am so ready to move out that i am starting to pack now and my lease isn't up until April. advice to anyone thinking about moving here: please don't and anybody currently staying here: get out asap and please bomb all your stuff unless you want there little friends going with you. now we know way the rent was so cheap.

when i first moved to the dallas area and had little income to move into a nice place someone told me about aspen chase apts. when i moved in my apt wasn't ready to move in also and their was a lot of dead lil homies on the floor in both bathrooms and the kitchen was like some war zone for them. i had crackheads begging all the time when i would open my door plus the halls always smelled. plus the fire ants were out of control in front were kids were suppose to play. maintence wasn't sharp but he did his best. but this was in 2003-04. i just couldn't pay rent if they refuse to clean and keep these apts up. The city needs to knock them down and rebuild nice apts in it's place. Just because they are in a bad neighborhood doesn't mean we have to live like weare in NEW JACK CITY!!!!
