I love my apartment! It is spacious and nice, perfect for my roommate and I. I have never lived in an apartment before so I was super worried about noise, other people, my dogs being too loud, etc. The positives-- the appliances run great, the closets are great, the fireplace is a nice bonus, and our patio is nice n big, the office staff has been nothing but nice and accomadating, especially since I am clueless as to the routine of repairmen on site etc. The other residents have also been friendly. I also love our covered parking super close to our front door. A Couple of Negatives-- The Dog Waste... yes it's a problem, and I always have at least 3 bags with me, but it doesnt hurt me to pick up a couple of extra droppings while Im already doing it, the Hot Water, yes it runs out quick, but I have been doing dishes and showering at the same time and taken ample time doing it, The people above me are a bit loud, they are moving around from 7am til after midnight, but I figure that comes with being on the 1st floor, and there are kids at the pool non-stop I'm not one to love being splashed while laying out, so I just lay out on my patio. My biggest annoyance moment was when the maintenence guy cam to take off a rusted washing machine hose the last tenant had left, it was rusted on to the water source and the Home Deopt deliveryman said that it was against their policy to remove it if there was any damage. When the repairman came, he told me it was my hose and not his responsibility and after explaining the situation 3 or 4 times he fixed it and as he left told me he was doing me a favor. That was the worst complaint I have, I'll definately post again after my lease is up and I'll update and speak my opinion there :)
