The Village is a great location. Also, despite the high crime around it, the security staff at the Village seems to do it's job and I felt very safe living here. There are tons of amenities, but for the most part I did not find the community I had hoped for. I rarely met any neighbors or enjoyed many village events. Still, the community is so large many of the people I met in Dallas turned out to live near me.

Overall I'd recommend the place. Prices vary a lot so there are some deals, but they're trying to tear those down and charge more for a new place. There are roaches and some things don't get fixed often enough, but the location, safety, and price make this a good pick.
