I lived in the Bend for about 2 years and never had a problem except with roaches b/c I always had them and it was disgusting. Then their washer broke in the apartment above me and the management never bothered to call me. It happend at about 1 o'clock on a Sunday and they were obviously open! I came home to a note on my door saying please leave the fans on. I walk into my apartment and there is water everywhere. The maintenance people didn't bother to move any of my stuff. Except throw my clothes in my bathtub! My table was bubbled, there was a whole in my bathroom ceiling. My mattress was ruined! Some of my clothes were ruined. I called the office and left a message. The next morning I had a message on my phone that said we heard what happend make sure to get your shoes out of the closet so we can get a fan in there. There was no I'm sorry at all. They basically looked at me like I was to blame for this. They never offered me a place to stay and I obviously couldn't sleep there! Then I asked them to replace my stuff and they threatened to kick me out b/c they said I was trying to take them. Why would I do that'' They were very nasty! Then they went into my apartment and started repainting the ceilings and didn't move my stuff so there was paint dust all over my stuff and I still have little dots of paint on my table. They also said they can't replace my mattress, but would help me throw my mattress away though! Then after I begged to be put in another apartment they put me in one that was about $150 more per month. After talking with them on the phone numerous times they finally came down a little bit in rent and gave me $500 off rent which doesn't even come close to reimburse after all the hassle. Then after I moved into my new place I wasn't getting a utility bill for about 3 months I kept going into the office to tell them that I wasn't getting a bill and they said I didn't have one. Then I moved out and about a month later they call me and say,"Do you know you haven't been paying utility bills'" They said I had to pay $400 or I'm going to collections. Then sent me two differnt letters with two different amounts on the letters. Now I want a letter stating I owe them nothing and I have called now for the past two months and all they can say is we're working on it. They are the worst management team I've ever worked with!! Carly is about the only person who knows anything. Other than that they are worthless and extremely RUDE!! Especially JILL!!! Noone knows anything and they lie a lot and the maintenance team will fix your stuff with duck tape!!!
