We were told these were built in 1983: turns out they were built in 1973: BEFORE CABLE TV. They have what is known as a "master antenna" that gets only local channels. They have retro fitted with ONE cable jack in the whole apartment (next to the front door) and you must use an A/B switch with it. That means no cable TV in the bedroom and to hook up one TV and two computers to high speed internet was a nightmare. We asked about high speed internet before signing a lease and were told ?no problem, you can have SWB or Comcast?. We have a problem with the carpet. They have sent out a repairman two times but the problem persists and management will not spend the money to have it repaired the proper way. Garbage pick up is only twice a week so everybody just leaves the trash by their door. When we were moving in (in July), we had to endure the stench of rotting trash under our stairs. We have a cabinet front that is held on by only one nail and management has not gotten around to fixing it yet (over two weeks). The maintenance guy is very nice and responds to most problems quickly, I think that management does not tell him everything that needs to be done. Also, they do not have adequate covered parking. Metal under stairs is rusted and falling down. Management will not fix it because they say it is not structural. Dogs poop anywhere and it is never cleaned up. Electrical wires run loose under shrubs.
