Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2004
I visited this property recently and was surprised to hear that they have an "aesthetic car" policy. The lady at the leasing desk asked me for the year and make of my car before I even was shown an apartment. When I questioned her, she told me that the complex will not allow residents to park their cars on property if the car doesn't meet a certain standard. She explained that potential residents whose cars don't meet their standard are told that they must either cover their car or they are not allowed to park it on property. This is ridiculous! I commented that I was glad I hadn't come a couple of weeks earlier because my car had just come from the body shop and she told me, "Oh, your car is fine. I checked it out as you were pulling in." What prospective resident wants to be graded on their vehicle before they've even walked in the door' The fact that they had such a strict policy might have been overlooked if the apartments were nice. I think decent would have been a better word. They are outdated with ugly tile in the kitchen in mirrored walls in the dining room and bedroom. Who wants the washer and dryer next to the dining room table' Briargrove may have it's standards but it sure didn't live up to mine!
