I am a College Professor and my friend is an 8th grade teacher. We went to look at these apartments and the staff was very rude. It was 4:00 and they closed at five. When ew got there it was obvious that we were inconveniencing them. The leasing agent was in the mirror combing her hair and the manager was on the phone (personal call). They debated verbally about who was going to show us the apartment. I was very offended by the manager because she said they only had a 740.00 apartment available and it may be out of my range. I am very capable of affording such a low price especially since my current rent is 940.00 for an upscale one bedroom. Frankly I did not like the apartments because of the old appliances and the cheap look, but the point is she was not suppose to treat us as horribly as she did.
She did not tell us about any specials or look and lease specials, which I later found out that they had because I called back the next day to ask. If she thought we were so poor and couldn't afford the apartment she should have offered us some specials Right'
I called back the next day because I just could not let this go. I talked to a different lady and explained what had happened the day before. I wanted the Management Companies name and telephone number. She refused to give it to me saying that the company does not handle things like this and that all problems are solved in house. BULL! Out of 15 apartments in the area this was absolutelty the worse experience. Luckily there are some brand new apartments right across the street and you even get a private yard!
