so when my husband and i first moved in it was alright for the price. we lucked out with quiet neighbors but we ended up right next to the community room. everytime they had events for children it was ridiculously loud, which i could live with, i guess. but on to the safety issue... we have "courtesy officers" that patrol the inside of their eyelids in the office. they are actual police officers but are not actually there to protect the tenants(we got a letter saying so) they are there to make sure the tenants follow the rules. whatever. i got assaulted right in the parking lot. the neighboring apartments are ghetto and full of hoodlums. they walk over and across the street in groups of 10 to use our pool and don't live here but the tenants are only allowed 2 visitors at the pool per apartment. my friend's car got stolen the first time he visited. someone's car got broken into a few weeks later... the staff in very nice but they take it a little too far with some things, kind of like they don't realize they are in the ghetto.
