I have lived here since mid-May. The apartments at first look seem great. New appliances, reasonable price, plenty of room if you don't have kids. We got new carpet, fresh paint, overall, initially appealing. Do not let the first look fool you. The countertops aren't marble, but a laminate. The cabinet doors seem new, but the cabinet's themselves are the same old ones from the Mid 80's when the place was built. They installed fake wood flooring, which is better than linoleum, as its easier to keep clean, but still looks pretty cheap.

The apartments themselves are very old. We share a boiler for hot water with the whole building, and they refused to turn on the second one, giving us cold showers for weeks. Because of that, your water bill is also shared, so they charge you an absurd amount, that has to be based of the whole building's average, not yours. The walls are paper thin, to where you can not only hear upstairs/downstairs neighbors clearly, but can hear people across the walk way.

Parking is horrid, as the do not tow people without a sticker, so people park where ever they feel like. Having to walk an eighth of a mile to get to your apartment with groceries is a pain. They put up paid covered parking, but "sold out" immediately although some spaces have yet to see a car.

Lastly, the service from the office is horrid. They never answer the phone when you call, and if you do happen to get someone they are often rude and short if you are not a new customer. Heaven forbid you get a package that was signed for by the office, as they will not tell you about it and often don't even look for it when you go down there or call. Camden is a big company, and it shows in the horrid customer service.

Overall, this is an old apartment complex with a face lift. Old drafty buildings with poor insulation will make your utilities skyrocket even with the new appliances. Horrible service just puts the cherry on top of a horrid experience. The only shining light was the maintenance department, they were fast and efficient, as well as friendly.
