I have lived in this complex for close to 2 years, and have not really had any problems with maintenance, the office staff being not helpful, or too much noise (well that is until recently when a bunch of teenagers moved next door). This complex is the perfect location for me. Everything you need is 5 minutes away, and my job is 3 exits up. I have a roomate and we got the biggest 2 bedroom and it's quite spacious and the apartment itself is nice looking pre and post modifications. Safety is not an issue either. I walk to my mailbox late at night with no problems and with the bigger units you get a security gate to your patio. I even live in the very back by the dartrail and you'd be surprised at how quiet it still is. My only complaint with this particular complex is the ridiculous things they are now charging for. The valet trash service they recently acquired is not optional so that tags 30 more dollars onto your rent, and most of the dumpsters are within walking distance of the apartments. Recently they started charging 15 dollars for gas. The water bill is split among the tenants as someone pointed out so my water bill is ridiculous. I don't think it's worth the price you pay, but I do enjoy living here. Unfortunately even with a roommate I am left broke at the beginning of every month so I think I am going to have to start looking for something cheaper.

We have been looking around at apartments and found that everywhere we are looking is now charging for these types of things. Costs of living are simply going up for home owners and apartment dwellers. Just be thankful that price is the only problem you have because I have found many complexes to be much more painful. :-)
