I moved from out of state and was able to research apts before moving, but had only a day to drive around and visit some before having to make a choice. First, I must say that management is friendly; however, they are completely inept and will do nothing constructive to solve a tenants problem, ESPECIALLY WITH NOISE COMPLAINTS! Noise is my #1 problem. Yes, it is an apt so some noise is to be expected, but these are the thinnest walls I have seen. I had a neighbor who stereo was up against the living room wall we shared. He blasted his bass day and night and it would rattle my walls. I talked to the guy the first time and he apologized and said it wouldnt happen again (lasted a whole 2 days). I had to knock on the guys door 2 more times over the next month b/c it was unbearable and finally went to management on the 4th time. Mgmt didn't do anything but log a complaint in there computers at that point. Within a month of that I had to call mgmt again about the stereo bass; this time they said they would write up a lease violation and put in on his door. They did this and shortly after the guy confronts me about the complaint (he just assumed since I had been the one to knock on his door previously) and we got into a verbal argument. I advised mgmt the next day when they opened what happened and that I should not have to be dealing with this guys stereo everyday and now his threatening demeanor. What did they do' Nothing !!! The asst. Mgr told me just not to knock on his door but come let them know if his stereo gets too loud and they will come up. They take no action and the tenants know it and the disrespectful ones (which are a majority) take advantage of it and do whatever they want. People are at the pools on weeknight at 2-3am doing cannonballs and yelling and screaming and they let people reserve the clubhouse until Midnight for parties ANY day of the week. These 'parties' turn into block parties that make their way into the parking lot and the music can be heard on the other side of the complex. I have complained to Mgmt and they say if its after hours to call on-site security officer. I have talked to this person 3 times and not once did he do anything. I like to have a good time on the weekends like everyone else but I have to work Mon-Friday and need to get some rest and not be kept up until 1am every night. Bottom line, noise is a huge problem that mgt refuses to deal with and the overall quality of the tenants is pathetic at best, with most being loud and disrespectful.
