The admins are nice and do their best to answer questions and help but upper managament is careless. They towed my car for no reason and they made me feel like it was my fault because they didn't see my parking tag.
Parking is unsafe, I had my car ran into the other day and I had to replace the front fender. Not enough parking space for visitors. If visitors don't park in the designated areas they will be towed away.
Loud place. When I first moved in I was on a first floor and the people upstairs walked and made noises all night long. I requested to be moved to a 2nd floor because the noise was unbearable. Management showed very little simpaty.
I am currently on a 2nd floor but I can still hear the neighbors downstairs and I can even smell when they smoke in the badthroom area.
The area in general is not safe and I always hear people screaming at night.
The interior was remodeled and they claim they have hardwood floors but the truth is that they installed cheap vinyl that looks like wood.
I am only staying here for a year and I will be so happy to move out as soon as my lease expires. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Please help me understand something...I checked the Dallas Police Department website, from Jan 1 2005 until Jan 15 2009, there is no list of crimes from those dates with the Golf Lakes Trail street address. At least any that were reported to the police. Why is everyone saying that there cars get broken into and that the area is not safe. If you can relate...this would be very helpful.

I did not have my car broken into. Another car ran into mine on a Saturday night at the parking lot. I've already encountered 2 people soliciting inside the complex and one of them became very hostile when I told him I didn't have any cash. To me, that's not safe...

My car was broken into last year and also we saw this other guy crying last week in the parking lot because both his windows were broken and stuff taken from his car..there is lots of crime in this area..

the problem is that when you do call DPD they cant and wont do aything and you have just wasted hours of your life you will never get back from waiting on the police.
