For a first time renter it gave me experience

Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2009
Lived here for two years during my undergraduate pursuits. At first it was something to be admired and the crew (having recently overhauled the area) took pride in the facility. However, the buzz eventually subsided and along came the hangover phase. Tell me, when there is a leak above your ceiling is it a common practice to merely paint over the water stain instead of actually fixing the leak' This is but a small problem on the list I have built with the upkeep of my own apartment, much less the entire facility. Parking and safety are nightmares here. I have had two friends' vehicles robbed while staying with me for a night and it seems every week we get a bulletin saying how someone's place has been robbed and no one knows anything about it. Yet, these are experiences that all face when living in a large city, it just seems to me that it could happen on a lesser basis. The noise is not so bad, the walls are fairly solid and do tend to keep most annoyances at bay, save for the occasional cacophony of bass from some idiot whom believes it to be of utter importance to declare his location in the complex. All sarcasm aside, the place isn't terrible, but nothing special. A little over-priced if you ask me. If your looking for something close to the medical district in the area, it's a good find; just remember to watch out for yourself.
