***** IT'S THE PARKING SITUATION *****

I'm only going to address this one issue .....

THE PARKING ! It is insane !
For me, all the other pros and cons about the complex are over-shadowed by this one issue.

First of all, the complex is a relatively small one compared to others in Dallas, but that's OK.

The problem is, that Camden managemet has taken about 50-75 percent of the prime parking spaces and made them "RESERVED ONLY", but to GET a reserved space will cost you an extra $30 (they just raised the fee) per month.

So, those of us who don't want to give in to highway robbery are left to fight for the few desireable non-reserved spaces that are left.

There have been nights where I have had to park on the other side of the COMPLEX in order to find a non-reserved spot.

What is equally maddening is the fact that we have tenants who invite their girlfriend, boyfriend, buddy, pal, etc., over, and they grab up one of the prime open spaces in front of our building, and once again, those of us who pay to live there are forced to park in Visitor Parking, or elsewhere.

What is even funnier is that the vast majority of the reserved spaces go unused, and sit there empty, while the rest of us have to fight to find a space.

I get home from work at 4:30, and most days I cannot find a non-reserved spot even at 4:30 !

I have called Camden Management numerous times about this problem , and they sympathize with me, and will usually put out a token memo to all tenants reminding them that family and friends are to park in the Visitor Parking Area, but none of them ever do, and the bottom line is that Camden simply will not tow them, even though their signs indicate that they will.
The parking situation is just a joke ! Those of us who don't want to fork over $30 more per month are penalized by the lack of adequate parking space, and Camden Management is totally aware of the problem, and simply refuses to do anything about it.
