I currently live at camden farmers maket. I'm wanting to know if anyone has been allowed to have their pet deposit waived. When I moved in I did not have a pet so there was no reason for a pet deposit. A couple of months later I decided to buy a dog. I asked the lady who rented me my loft if there was going to be an issue with me having this dog. She replied, "As long as it is not an aggressive breed and you have concrete floors you should not have any problems nor should you worry about a pet deposit." She also said that camden farmers maket is very dog friendly. I belived what she said and purchased the dog. As you might know camden has pet parties when the weather is nice. I have taken my dog to these parties and have had management and employees admire how big he is. I have also brought him into the main office on several different occasions when he was weighing 100 lbs. plus, Everyone asked what kind of dog it is and how much would it weighed. Does this sound like a person who is trying to hide their pet from management' I now have two of these dogs and one is a puppy. Recently the puppy chewed through the water line to the toilet and caused my loft to flood and might have caused damage to dry wall in the loft below. Their repair men used my dry-clean only comforter off of my bed to mop up the floor. I have acknowledged that I am responsible for all damages and will pay for repairs. The property manager has informed me that I must vacate in 30 days due to pet violations. They are also making me pay an early termination fee. This seems unfair to me because I was told by their staff that my dog was allowed. If they want me to leave, I will leave. But punishing me by making me pay a little over $1100 to break a lease that I do not want to break seems ridiculous. The property manager ackowledged that there was a pet problem in the whole complex. I responded by telling her that her leasing agents had been misleading. Her response was that I should have read my whole lease. I understand that my pets are outside of their pet restrictions, but they haven't done ANYTHING to every other person in my building who's pets are against their policy. k6tKKzmJrmATU2ap682S
