It's gorgeous and the leasing agents are very nice, but it's just not safe. Unless you're a buff guy or live with one who will walk you everyday to and from your car, I'd suggest living elsewhere. My friend was robbed at knifepoint at my doorstep! The security person on duty that night was an older woman who carried a rake... she informed us that all the residents would be notified the next day. Four days later when there'd still been no notice, we started talking to residents so they'd know what had happened. I'd have been less distrubed if it'd happened on the street or even the parking garage... But the robbery was outside of my door. Needless to say, fellow residents were pissed Camden hadn't told anyone and started calling the leasing office to complain. The leasing office got mad that we told the residents! 2 days later, they then sent out an inaccurate letter, informing residents that someone was robbed in the parking lot and people should be careful... It wasn't the parking lot. It was my door step. My door at the end of a long, "safe" hallway.

Aside from the safety issues and less than concerned staff, I lived there only 6 months and submitted at least 6 maintenance requests. At least 4 were regarding electrical outlets that weren't working, and still to the day i moved out, the outlet that i'd called about 4 times still hadn't been fixed.

All in all, I know we could have just had bad luck. The apartments are nice enough, and the work out facilities and party room are gorgeous. But it's just not safe to live downtown. I felt even less safe when they were mad that we informed other residents so they could be on the lookout for their own safety.
