I absolutely loved my floorplan in this apartment. I had the C-1. Tall ceilings, garden tub, full-size washer and dryer included, and loved the kitchen layout. Any maintenance requests I had were answered quickly, and the management was friendly and organized.

I always thought it was odd how many people lived in this complex but I hardly ever passed people in the hallways, etc. Felt very private and comfortable, never noisy. I have heard a few reports of incidents on the property, but I always felt like the management was very forward and proactive about incidents - didn't try to hide the truth, and would warn us to be smart and safe. I think some people overplay the safety/downtown aspect... you can get a very quick feel for what it's like by walking around Deep Ellum and the complex, and if you don't feel secure, then you should obviously live somewhere else. I personally had no trouble with break-ins or anything like that, and I never saw homeless people around the property, like I've read in other reviews.

As far as the actual apartment, parking, and organization of Camden Farmer's Market, this place has set the standard for apartments for me since I lived here. I have yet to find a better floorplan with as overall nice of a feel as this apartment. Be smart, though. Walk the property, and really spend some time around Deep Ellum / downtown before you make your decision.
