I really do like Camden apts, the space and price are hard to find in Dallas but however, the West Village is calling me and it will be great to walk to places.
I'm not leaving because I never felt safe, I actually always felt safe and secure in my one bedroom apt on the FIRST floor. People that complain about the non-safe area really just need to move to the suburbs...where you think you will be safe..but are you really in those ugly track homes'

One downside here is there is no where to walk to in regards to fun restaurants and bars. Deep Ellum is dying unfortunately -- I love the history and culture there and its unfortunate some of my favorite places have closed. I do love downtown but unfortunately Camden is not walking distance to all the fun restaurants and bars on Main Street but cabs are always good too.

Although the fixtures in the D apts are fine, I like the granite countertops and stainless steel appliances I'll be getting in the new uptown apt.

I will miss Camden and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a large space at a cheap price.
