I have lived here going on 6 months now and it doesn't seem that bad. One must realize that this complex has 900 units and consider the problems that may come along with it. I have only seen one car get broken into in the parking garage and I really think that it was somebody that the girl knew anyway.

My biggest problem here is not the apartments nor the staff--it's the people. It's a "dog-friendly" apartment complex, which means that people do NOT pick up their dog's poop. My patio faces a courtyard and everyone with a dog treats it like it's a big litterbox. It's not really the management's fault. They provide the baggies and signs to "please pick up after your pet," but everyone here seems to think that people should just have to deal with their pet defecating ALL OVER the apartment grounds.

My second biggest problem is that we had a recurring mouse problem. But the apartments were built on a field and are adjacent to an open field, so I think that's part of the problem. Maintenance helped us with the problem, although it isa little disturbing paying $700 /mo for an apartment that has mice running through it.

The rent is reasonable and if you work downtown, it's a good place to live and very convenient. The maintenance workers and the staff are pretty helpful.

Again, the problem seems to lie with the residents: who don't pick up after their pets, who don't quiet their barking dogs, who don't know how to park in a parking space, and who think it's okay to do laundry at 3 AM in a second-floor apartment.

haha, wow, mice now? that's disgusting! Doesnt surprise me though! What do people have to do with the breaks ins, robberies and constant noise problems and now a rodent issue?? Your story about living here doesnt make sense...How do you know the person who broke into someones car? Are you one of the thieves? This property is unsafe and now you say it has mice?? EWWW!!! Another reason not to live here, thanks for the report! Not sure why you would mark this recommended, EWWW.

I believe whoever is responding to everyones reviews is a the same person under a different name. they same pretty bitter about something and I don't know what it is but apparently they are pissed off about it. and mean to do the complex some damage by spreading roomers. whoever you are you really should get a life and move on.

It seems they do respond to a lot of reviews but from what I've read they seem upset that Camden Management is unethical by posting very obvious 'management' created reviews of the property. I've read a few of the other reviews for this place when I was looking for a place in Dallas and there are many reviews for this Camden property that are too "perfect" especially with the reviews that blatantly blame the residents for all the problems and make management sounds like they do no wrong. Sure some people are going to like this complex and have no problems but I wasn't born yesterday. After I toured the area/complex I can understand the concerns about noise, safety and convenience that have been posted on other reviews that the fake reviews say don't exist. I really doubt honest people would post reviews with how perfect an apartment is without a single complaint except that other residents are the problem and not management. I took the advice and found the area wasn't convenient to much anything and when I drove by it at night I saw a lot of shady cars and shady homeless folks with glass in the streets from car windows being smashed. Not an area my family and friends need to be in so I decided against it, if you can live the above things then maybe this is your place. *shrug*
