Try elsewhere first

If you absolutely have to this place is not bad. But there are so many apartment complexes right around this area and just north that are much better. The covered parking is great if you want to bash the pillars everytime you get out. I've been here for a while and am stuck until the end of the year. At first it seems great, until you're up for renewal and they gouge the crap out of you, even though you know new leasees aren't paying that price.
Maintenance is awful. I made a service call and it took them 3 weeks to finish. The contractors and maintenance in and out made a mess and the apartment office said they would send someone to clean and all they did was smear stuff around. I was so frustrated I just said screw it, I'll clean it up myself. The worst part of all is that I had to call numerous times to remind them and ask them when it was going to be fixed.
The walls are very thin but that's to be expected in older apartments. If your apartment faces the highway you might as well say adios to leaving windows open. The sliding doors are thick enough to block out the sound.
Try other places first. Especially up north towards Frisco. Much nicer apartments for the same price. The Tollway and Bush are convenient but you'll be so frustrated with the management and maintenance that you'd prefer the traffic.
