ok, bad stuff first. Old apartments, old appliances, old and inefficient air conditioning. Bugs on the first floor no matter how hard they try with pest controllers. When it rains in the right season, you get lots of millipedes coming under your door. I suppose youd know this if youre from Texas, but Im not. Thankfully, the brown recluse spiders ate the millipedes, then I killed all the spiders with spray. You can hear footsteps on the floor above you, and people love to blast their car stereos while working on them in the parking lot. One small ungated parking lot, one large ungated across the street, one large gated around the complex, but you have to pay a deposit for the remote. Toward the end of my stay, my walls began to pit from termites.
THE GOOD: Your freeway exit on north 75 is right before traffic backs up at rush hour. Nice management, they like to make you happy. Low rent, I paid $495. Nice pool, though not open year round. Big balconies and patios, though the floor of the balcony above you has slits so people smoke above you while youre laying out on your hammock, and drop ashes down at you (accidentally, really). Not too safe feeling neighborhood. Better because its on a cul de sac.
