I currently live in Austin, Texas and am in the process of moving to the Dallas area. I was looking for temporary living quarters and found one I liked. I was told the price was $325.00 a month. I filled out the application and gave them the deposit and application fee. The very next day, I got a call in Austin, staing they could not give me the unit they originally showed me. I then verified that the price was the same. I was then told, I was never told $325.00, that infact it was $365.00. I complained and an assistant manager got on the phone and told me no, that it was $345.00. At this point, I am afraid of doing business with them and tell them to never mind and refund my money. They said they would. The day after Thanksgiving I drove to Dallas to collect my money and now I find out that the application fee won't be returned. I then look at a copy of the application and you can see where the rent dollars have been changed several times, without intialing approvals from anyone( I have copies of this). I believe that falsifing legal documents should allow me to nullify the entire agreement. I would like to warn others who might become prey to this activity. P0MtU6TIdDkM23RTonAS
