My wife and I have lived here for over two years. The price is on par with neighborhood. If it appears high, be thankful as price sets a floor as to the caliber of people who live there. The after-hours security/maintenance/answering service could be revamped. The only negatives are the idiots who accelarate through the parking lots with no regard for residents. SLOW DOWN. Parking is ample. If not, God forbid you have to walk an extra 25 yards to your apartment. The leasing agents aren't the brightest ones out there so speak with the manager if at all possible. If you see something that offends you albeit pet excrement or selective enforcement of rules, write a letter. If no response, contact the management company. Something will be done. With regard to noise complaints, contact the onsight security officer, contact the police and after a couple of complaints, request the resident be evicted. Understand that with common walls it is going to be loud; however, you shouldn't have to listen to your neighbor's television/radio. Be proactive and you'll get the results you want and the assistance of the office staff. Doorside trash pick-up would be nice.
Crime happens so don't leave your bike unlocked on your first floor balcony or you may see it being ridden away. Use common sense.
The benefits are the ease of commute to downtown, the close proximity of white rock trail.
