I lived here last year for a full 13 months and for the most part enjoyed it. Great location. Very convenient to all areas. Dallas, Plano, Garland, Grapevine, etc, etc. The complex itself was always well kept and nice looking. Office staff was cool. Always there to help out with any issues you may have. The pool is nice. Rarely too crowded or wild. They have a pretty good gym. Lots of options and everything always works. They have a cool media room with a big screen tv to watch movies and sports on. They have a pool room that is really nice as well with a full kitchen attached and can be used whenever you like. The business center is mediocre. Two computers dont seem to be enough for the amount of residents who use them and the printer/copier/fax machine has had its share of breakdowns.

The apartments themselves are good. Basically your standard apartment. Nothing too special about them but they do the job. One thing I did notice about this complex is that it is very QUIET, which is very nice. Rarely any ruckus going on. Like parties, rude neighbors, or anything like that. The area its in is fairly quiet as well. Not alot of traffic and noise outside to deal with. So thats good. I think i heard my neighbors make noise once in the whole 13 months I lived there. The gates usually work but they do go thru some down time when broken. They have an on-site security officer who works all night so safety wasnt really an issue. Parking wasnt so bad, but if you got home real late you might have to park across the way at another building or in the covered parking area.

Although, i did have some issues with the place. The floorplans are relatively small. The two bedrooms are just one bedrooms with another room and bathroom attached. The living space is extremely tight and the dining areas are small too. The kitchens need updating as far as appliances go as well as cabinetry and countertops. For The amount of money they want for rent they should have done this long ago.
Another thing is the insulation of the apartments. It is very bad. My apartment ran up an extremely high energy bill all year round and I travel so im not around much and my roomate worked two jobs so he wasnt around much either. when we were home the a/c or heater would turn on practically every 10 minutes and go and go and go and go.
Basically running our elec bill through the roof. For the size of the floorplans this shouldnt be.

All in all, its a good place to live. I now live downtown and I miss some aspects of churchill on the park. Namely the peace and quiet and privacy you get there.
