I lived here from 1997-2002.. For an older property it was kept up pretty well.. The price was decent for an apartment in the Village.. My rent was $396 a month for an efficiency.. For the most part , the office staff was friendly and helpful.. However , there are times when you have to go above the manager's head to get her to do things.. The Village offers so many ammenities , that there is something for everyone.. Maintenance usually responds quickly , and does a good job.. Overall , I was fairly satisfied.. A few negatives now: there were always construction people tearing down balconies and various parts of buildings when it clearly did not need to be done.. It ends up being a HUGE waste of money , and a major inconvenience!! The landscaping crew start bright and early with their SUPER LOUD leaf blowers doing really nothing but waking people up and irritating the HELL out of them.. To this day , I still cannot believe they are allowed to do that!! Young ladies - I really feel for you.. It is no secret that a majority of the landscaping crew will stop working and stare at you for long periods of time as you lay out by the pool.. I should know.. I lived right by the pool..
