I had a 1 BR apartment in the Corners. This place is pretty decent. I liked the area. There is a country club for socializing, gym, tennis courts, parties and other stuff which was pretty good. Prices are decent too considering some of the other places. There is ample parking. Smith Patrol guys patrol this complex during day and night. It seemed to be perfectly secure at first and then one day when I was walking in the area, somebody offered to sell drugs. I also received a couple of notices from the rental office - one about robberies at gun point in the complex and the other about a sexual assault which is being investigated by the Dallas police. The area itself is not bad - there are grocery stores, fast food centers and restaurents close by. I will not recommend this place to a single girl/woman for security reasons. Otherwise, it is not bad. The rental office also offers an alarm system for an additional price which may be worth investing. Maintanence was not always prompt. At one time, there was small leak in my bathroom with a potential for flooding and it took them sometime (2 days) to comeover and fix it. I used to have lots of ants in my apartment. Using insecticides helped but did not stop them completely. My apartment was on first floor, so I suspect that I used to get more bugs than the guys living second floor. Overall, I would say it is not bad for the money. However, there is a lot of housing in Dallas metroplex, so you may want to checkout other places before going for this one.
