SUMMARY GANGBANGERS, RAPPIST, and A SMELL I WILL NEVER FORGET.
When I first found the village I said to myself this is for me! People were jogging, playing softball and hanging out. At the time I was turning 21, had a great job managing a small franchise and enough money generating to live in a large two bedroom apartment. After going to the Lincoln Property office I decided to live at the Corners. About three days after moving in I met my upstairs neighbor. During our first orientation he asked me don t I wonder about his tattoos' I said no not really, every one has tattoos these days. He then told me they were prison tats, and he just got out. He then pointed to his four cars in the parking lot and said don t these they are mine. That was that. After this I went inside and said a little prayer. I never really spoke to the guy again until the Dallas swat team kicked his door down and arrested him for attempted murder just one block away on Fair Oaks lane. As he was being pulled out of the apartment he asked if I said something. That sucked! I nearly messed myself. After they cleaned out his apartment thing were starting to look up. I met two nice girls across from me who had a puppy that loved to play with my dog. About a month later I was sitting on my porch having a Saturday afternoon beer when I start hearing loud horrific screams. I immediately ran to the laundry room were it was coming from, when I arrived a found my neighbor crying. She told me a man in drag just exposed himself and then tried to force himself on her. When she started to scream he ran like the wind. I immediately called the police. A lot of good that did! The police contact the village security known as Smith. They arrived immediately. Smith basically ended up interrogating my neighbor on the spot for doing laundry only. I flipped called the Dallas Police back and told to get over here Smith is about to have a major lawsuit on there hands. The police filed a report and Smith did nothing, except when they saw me in my car, they would tail me till I got home. It was payback for calling the police on them. Four months later I noticed a nasty smell in my apartment. I blamed my dog. I searched high and low for the mystery smell and found nothing. Day two, the smell worsened. It got to the point that I was starting to get pissed off. I detailed my apartment, searched every where and still it smelled like rotting trash. Day three, I call the office and say my apartment smells bad. They told me to light a candle, I am not joking they really did. I felt hopeless! On Day four I awoke to the worst of days. I could barley breath with out gagging. I thrown on clothes and went to the office and demanding someone come to my apartment and tell me to light a candle. The lady that leased my apartment came over and smelled the smell. She had no explanation. She recommended that I open all my windows and air it out. Yeah, ok. I had being doing that for four days. Day five, I went next door to ask my neighbor if he smelled anything. As I rang the door bell I noticed a three delinquent account letters on hit door. It was the 23rd of May. He had not paid rent for 23 days. I hope by know you have put this all together. My neighbor died and rotted for at least of 30 days according to the Dallas crime scene investigator. I broke down. My whole apartment smelled of rotting humane. I was told by the Dallas police to go to the doctor to check for Hepatitis B, an air born bacteria that can be lethal. I went to the manager a said I want to move immediately! He told me that I would have to break my contract and pay for early termination fees. I freaked, and told the guy to go **** himself and paid to leave my wonderful abode. My furniture had to be thrown out, my clothes were all professionally dry cleaned and worst of all I was broke from buying out the rest of my lease. Like I said before I will NEVER forget The Corners apartments.
