In the month I have lived here, we have gotten two notices posted on doors about armed robberies in the complex. The perpetrator appears to be the same man in all FIVE cases described, and "Smith Security" and/or the Dallas police appear to be incompetent to stop him. Apartments have been kept at minimal standards for renting, they were built in the seventies and have had little more than a few coats of paint since then. Some parking lots fill up, and it's not assigned unless you want to pay a ridiculous expense for covered parking. Parking lot NOT secure. But not very many problems with noise, no roaches, etc. Security is the biggest issue! It is not gated! Trust me, in Dallas, go for a complex that has a security system with a gate!
