Covington Pointe

We moved here in late 2002 and we hope to renew our lease for the 2 BR/2 Bath later this spring.

Previous management was slow and unresponsive, although never rude to us. I noticed people's complaints about the maintenance, but since new management took over, it seems that maintenance is always on top of things - I recently turned in a small list of minor repairs, and it was taken care of within 24 hours. I am inclined to believe that the previous management never turned in the work orders to the maintenance crew.

I am a newly married, full time college student, and this place fits right into our budget. The electric bill is a little higher than we'd like at times, but we figure the space we have for the price we pay makes it worthwhile. We really enjoy the low noise level here. Most of the tenants seem to be middle-aged/older, so not too much noise. Occassional party in the section we live in, but not often enough to complain about.

The only thing I will complain about is that the security gate has been left open on occassion. My husband had his truck broken into and his stereo system was stolen. A few cases of auto vandalism as well, although it has been a few months since we've seen/heard anything new. We really would like to see at the very least, a night security patrol.
