I live in building 8 and I have been here for a few years. I moved here after living in the addison circle for a year. I just got back from Iraq and I had all that deployment money so I wanted to live in a "fancy apartment complex" for a little bit. The circle charged me almost twice as much as deer run does and my apartment was a lot smaller. The staff at the circle treated me like garbage "JODY" to name names... -----. O and my car got broken into! even with the gates and the cameras!!!! lame!!!! Anyways! Moving to Deer Run was the best thing I could have done. She isn't working there now but one of the staff members was a wife of I guy I was in the guard with.
Pros:
Low Rent and nice area
close to the hwy but not too close.
great food in the area
quiet for the most part.
Always a place to park
NO Fing gates!
Friendly people for the most part
There was a lot more crime going on in the circle!
They have events... I never go to...
Cons:
I hate my down stairs neighbors. They yell at each other all of the time and slam doors.
maintenance was very slow the last time I needed them.
I hear about cars getting broken into from time to time but I have a car alarm and I could almost spit as far away as my car is parked.
The buildings are old and the walls are thin. If you live here please be nice to your fellow dwellers. Its like Peter and his next door neighbor from the movie Office space here.
I know this review is kinda riding middle of the road on likes and dislikes but it's my home. I am 24 and I love it here. When I get a job I will move into a house but for now I am very happy.
