Lived there for 6 months in 2000. Noise was a big problem, loud music(poor sound insulation) and kids everywhere! Almost hit a couple a few times who ran out into the street unmonitored. High crime area, shootings have taken place and robberies. I was awakened more than once to police search lights shining through my bedroom windows while they were searching for someone and it's gotten worse from what I've heard. Sometimes the security gates didn't work. The staff was okay, nothing to complain about there, didn't have any maintenance issues, so can't comment on that either, although the washroom washers/dryers need to be updated and repaired(they are often in disrepair and unusable). Poor lighting in the parking lots, easy for someone to come up on you without seeing them. I wouldn't recommnd living there, unless you don't mind hearing guns firing in the middle of the night and possibly being robbed while entering and exiting your apartment.
