This is undoubtedly the worst property management company I??ve ever rented from by a mile. Nothing will ever get done, and if for any reason your life circumstances change, the office will not work out an arrangement with you to break the lease. I experienced a job loss and had to move out of state to live with my parents because of financial hardship. I was a good tenant and almost at the end of my lease with no late payments or other issues. Regardless, the evil assistant manager refused to acknowledge my circumstances or negotiate with me. She said I would be responsible for back rent at the ??market rate.?? This means that your are expected to pay the difference between what you were actually paying for rent and what they say could have been charged for your apartment. What nonsense. Read the fine print in your lease. This assistant manager is cold and heartless. She will not let you know anything about the parent company (a red flag). Plus, expect the staff to take a week or longer to fix anything wrong with your apartment.

o.k. when you sign a lease contract you have to know that you are in a binding legal agreement with the apt complex for that term. If you break the lease then it will go on your credit. I know life circumstances may cause you to break the lease, but the apt complex are obligated to uphold that contract. So yes, you will owe them lots of back money and fees, but that is life. the apt manager should't have been called evil when it is her responsibility to treat everyone the same and how was she to know your story is true? is she suppose to excuse everyone who comes in with a sob story???

Texas Property Code Section 92 says BY LAW, The management company HAS TO give you the NAME AND ADDRESS OF THE OWNER OF THE APARTMENT complex, and if they don't, you can sue them for 3 times the rent PLUS attorney and court costs.
Call the Texas Tennants Union. They will help you sue them.
