Never move here!

My husband and I just moved out of this apartment complex after 13 months and it was a long awaited move (we initially gave our first review on July 2, 2006 but it cancelled itself out when I wrote this updated one). I cannot mention all the reasons why you should not move here - there are far too many to name and it would take way too long. However, to sum it up, these are some main points:
*Horrible office staff and manager
*Maintenance will never admit something is broken unless it is blantantly obvious - we went with our A/C blowing warm air during the height of the summer months last summer but they told us it was working normally. However, it would not turn off and our electric bill was $240 for two months in a 671 sq.ft apartment. Finally, at 10 p.m. one night, we had an emergency maintenance guy come out (a different man than the normal guys) and he told us the whole unit was gone - it wasn't working at all. That night we slept on the floor of an empty apartment.
* The area is horrible - we lived next to drug dealers for 6 months - our downstairs neighbor confirmed this when he told us people were coming to his door looking for the "other neighbor" who sold the drugs. We also got to see the crime scene van at least 3 times and officers with guns drawn once.
*Parking: good luck trying to find a parking space anytime after 8:00 p.m.
My point is, save yourself the trouble and find somewhere else to live. Eagle Creek is not worth the trouble I guarantee you will have with them. 6TrHFn6pn7poyqNlKEgn
