I live in a two bedroom apartment and we're about half way through our lease. I haven't had any of the problems listed in other reviews. The worst thing that's happened so far is that our air conditioner had to be replaced, and that was fixed in about two days. Otherwise any maintenance we've needed was done same day, they replaced a leaking sink in the kitchen in about an hour.

The apartments aren't the nicest in Dallas but they're clean, and safe, and they have a pretty decent price tag. Having friends in other complexes definitely gives me an appreciation for the complex I'm in. I have only two complaints: first, my bedroom faces the street and the street noise is louder than I'd like at night, especially on weekends. Second, there are two AC units in the apartment, which you would think is a good idea, but the thermostats are located in places that make no sense, and you cannot under any circumstances maintain a constant temperature in the apartment, and it also causes our electric bill to go up.
