This place is by far the nicest place I have lived in Dallas, and before moving here I only lived in the Uptown area. I had some reservations moving here at first because of the area, but I have never not felt safe in my apartment or the complex. And since I moved in a year ago, the area has been developing, with old houses being torn down and new townhomes and complexes going up every day. Everyone is very friendly here - staff and residents. Yeah, there were some break-ins in cars, but they did try to help the situation - going so far as to have a mandatory apartment meeting with a police officer to discuss how to prevent break-ins (i.e. don't leave your laptop in your car - sorry, but if you do that you deserve to get it stolen - you are in a big city people!). The maintainance people here are great - if I call about something in the morning it is always fixed by the time I get home. It is a great place if you have a dog - there is a really nice courtyard where the dogs can run around. Very nice stainless steel appliances, and spacious closets and bathrooms (studio). I would not hesitate to sign a lease here.
