My roommate and I lived there from June 2005 to August 2006 and we just loved the complex and its people. Consider this to be FOUR positive testimonies, one coming from me and the other 3 coming from our other satisfied neighbors.

We grew to adore the NEW office manager (Taylor) and his trusty maintenance crew (Armando & friends). Taylor is so nice and quick with our needs. To me he was an improvement from the last office manager who always sounded stuffy and uptight. But Taylor is very personable and reliable. He proved this on his first few days on the job. My roommate Michelle was expecting a package of expensive frozen steaks, which came after the front office closed, and Taylor (seeing the "perishable foods" sticker) chose to stick around so he could deliver this package to Michelle. Sounds like a small task but he's a cool guy. He also helped rescue my neighbor's dog who had slice her paw as she broke through the glass window. He chased her across the street and calmed her down, brought her back to the owner. The dog crapped on him and Taylor was still cool about it. seriously!!

About the maintenance... Armando is always friendly and likewise quick in helping out. He helped Michelle when she got locked out of our apartment, and you can just holler at him to fix things while he's on his way to fix someone else's apartment. He's a cool cat.

I did remember the A/C issue we had last year during the warm winter, and the office manager did his part in sending out flyers to explain that the A/C was controlled centrally. I cannot blame him for the change in weather. Switching the furnace on and off is not a simple as it sounds. But I also sympathize with the last reviewer, because his/her apartment probably wasn't as cool and comfy as ours.

It was also a great value. We had a 2-bedroom unit with hardwood floors for $850. It was pretty, quiet, and comfy. We had maintenance issues but Armando took care of them so quickly. He works SO MUCH! He rarely gets vacation.
