I'd Rather Die Than Live There Again!

Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007
I lived here in 2007 and it was so bad that I moved out early and continue to pay for the place, even though I am living somewhere else. I would rather pay rent at the new place, and pay off my lease at fairfax for the next 6 months than to live there another minute. All the stuff you read about the A/C not working, the bugs, the crappy management and the crook owner are all true. I lived in 6227 Bordeaux, apartment ---, and it was like living in an oven in the summer time. The place is on a sort-of boiler system for heat and A/C, so whatever they have the system set on, is what you get. Even though you have a thermostat in your apartment, if they have it set on heat, you get heat, not cool air. You know how the seasons can be in Dallas...even in January it can be 80 degrees sometimes, but you don't have a choice of A/C or heat at fairfax. You just have to open the windows at night and hope for a breeze. When I lived there, ----------------------- man lived downstairs from me. He was constantly bringing really scuzzy ----- prostitutes into the complex, and screwing them. They would scream and yell at him afterward to "give me my damn money"...and then he would beat them up and kick them out of his apartment. Then we'd have some dirty coon prostitute running around knocking on doors asking people for a ride somewhere. Fairfax apartments is a horrible place for anyone to live, unless you just don't care about your surroundings and you can deal with HOT temperatures in your place all year round. The walls are also really thin, so if the person next door or under you smokes, you might as well smoke too, because your place will smell like smoke all the time. I called the owner once to complain about all the crap and he hung up on me. That guy is a sorry excuse for a human being. If you move here, you're crazy.
