I like it here because it is attractive and a very nice community. The ladies are nice if you will give them a break and not moan and groan for they get really busy. They are more organized now than in their arrival and seem to be alot friendlier now. I have found out that if you are nice to someone you will get things done quicker. The last place I lived was really nice but the building was sold and the new management was "TERRIBLE".
We moved out to here at Fairways, no regrets! (yet)
I love my floor plan, nice big kitchen and big windows to light up the place.
When I place a work order if it is an emergency I will get it taken care of right away but if it is something that is not major then it will be later which I understand that. Sometimes I get things taken care of right away if maintenance is not bogged down with work.
I like to decorate my patio and my apt. to make it and the property look nice. I see some patios that look "JUNKY" with dead plants and too much junk cluttered and not neat. If one does not know how to decorate then don't decorate, it is an "EYE SORE" for your neighbor next door that does like to take time and care for beautifying the area.
I appreciate the way there are entertainment for the residents. So far I am happy here.

Just curious, how much did your rent go up? Are you in a 1 BR or a 2 BR? This is already a nice property and they are putting some $$ into upkeep, slowly but surely making improvements (exterior, anyway). Maintenance response is slower than when we moved in a year and a half ago. Had to wait several weeks on a simple repair - being nice didn't get me any better service in that case. But I agree w/ you, no need to be a jerk to the office staff - that doesn't help anyone. I would still recommend Fairways overall, if the rent doesn't go up too much.

Quite a laugh there! When we renewed our lease we were told there would be no upgrades although we were certainly expecting them and to add to other comments we have been waiting over 6 months for a couple of minor repairs to be attended to. We may as well take care of them ourselves at that rate but is it wrong to expect your concerns to be addressed ASAP. I think not! So as for being a "jerk", I think the person who wrote that may like to get their facts straight!

I don't need to get my facts straight, I know the upgrades I got, I also got them on my schedule time with the office. My renewal on rent though was in Nov. and my upgrades were in Dec. 07. I get things done in my place so far. I do not like to leave v/mail, I call personally and tell them. I really do hope that my rent next year does not go up astronomically and I hope not to be having a bunch of illegal immigrants and kids living here. This neighborhood is too nice to be trashed out.

I was also asked what upgrades I'd like when we renewed our lease...THEN NEVER GOT THEM. I can't wait to get out of here and get away from the management here. I can't stand "doing business" with them. They constantly made excuses why they can't get me any upgrades or they have to be certain days or whatever. I'm so tired of people who can't do their job right. IF I WAS THIS WAY AT MY JOB I'D BE FIRED IMMEDIATELY!!!! I won't tolerate this from someone WHO I'M PAYING!!!!
