Uncomfortable Stay

As my first apartment, its location (next door to a shady neighborhood) and situation (on the third floor facing the West) was tolerable, but as soon as I was settled, I noticed the flaws with the unit. Foremost, I was horrified to find a tick infestation in our patio storage, apparently caused by a previous owner who treated her dog horribly, leaving him sick and covered in his own filth on the patio. The exterminator came just about every week, if not every other week, and I was forced to vacuum up the remainder of ticks that snuck under my sliding glass door between his visits. It was also unbearably hot, of course being on the west side, and the utility bills were higher than expected, being only 500 square feet and having only 1 bathroom. Also, having such thin walls and glass patio doors, it was quite noisy, with the ice cream man coming very often and the garbage truck just about startling me out of my skin almost every morning. mgFDbN4-dhkSMZ7zRmVH
