If it wasn't for the discounted rent that I am offered upon lease renewal, I would have
already moved. These apartments are decent looking and in a convenient location. I have a problem with my individual apartment.
I hear every bit of noise coming from above my apartment as if there is no insulation at all. I can hear every step, every cabinet opening, every drop on the floor, every door close every toliet flushing, every water running, every shower running, smell every food cooking, every argument happening, every person coming up and down the stairs. You would think they made the place out of cardboard. Expect maintenance a week after you called them if at all. They seem to make sure to show up after your gone. Expect alot of your maintenance problems to go unanswered the first 3 times. Expect to hear alot of outdoor noises from vents, airconditioning, etc. Most of the noises are due to environment and the way the apartments are built, otherwise most neighbors seem to be fairly quiet. Parking is stupid because the parking strips are designed for small cars or motorcycles only.
Most people occupy 2 or more parking spaces.
the security is shady and flaky and very "picky"(if you are of certain persuasion, you can get away with alot more stuff). They patrol one little area and its usually the front entrance which is gated. they keep changing the gate code passkey without notifying you. Its hard to travel or leave or come in by foot because you have to have a gate code to get out. You have to have a pass key to get in your mailbox. I am thankful that I am moving next month. Overall visually decent, but if you can stand the sound of someone stomping on your head all night or the sound of waterfall showers, you might be ok living there.
