I was a student at AID living in the falls, and i can say that if they don't like you, then nothing will ever get done at your request.
the place is a scam.


And I would just like to add that the staff for AID housing is god awful, and should be removed.

check out some other places before you let your kids here, the drugs are way to easy to come by, and the crime rate is wayyy up there. on top of that if youre getting a 4 person deal, it seems like a good price, but the school is actually pulling well over $2000 dollars from an apartment that's not worth $800. i suggest finding your own room mate. under most loan plans it doesnt have to be school sponsered housing to be student housing.

The security are cool people, they can only be in so many places at one time, and honestly I myself wouldnt risk my life for what theyre getting paid (and it is a pretty big risk, the other reviews weren't kidding about gunshots almost nightly.)

I've had alot of people just walking by ask me if i was looking for anything (drugs.)
I had my car broken into and my stereo stolen.

the cockroaches are the size of small dogs, and force to be reckoned with.
The AC busts seasonaly.
and the walls are really really thin.

check out some stuff off 75, or 635. just dont give your money to those greedy bastards at AI.

I can absolutely concur. As a former student of AI, this is the biggest joke I've ever seen, except maybe the tuition rates at AI itself. Many a time I've been aske dby cops in response to a SERIOUS CRIME if I had witnessed anything the previous night/day etc. I've woken up in the morning only to find my friend's car ( I was carpooling with her) inside a sizeable ring of police tape because just outside the gate was a vehicle crime scene with markers for blood spatter all around it. Dangerous even for those of us used to big city living, and made even worse by the low income housing just over the fence. Located in the WORST part of Dallas, just off of Forest Lane, who boasts apartments with the highest crime rates in all of Dallas. And just FYI, Dallas is #1 for crime in the country as is...
