I wanted to write this here especially since I see that they do not leave reviews. The Falls are practically ripping them off. UTI is using The Falls as student housing. There is 4 students to a 2 bedroom apartment, and each student is paying $1,500 a month. Most of them cannot afford this. Now grant it we the normal resident pay about $800 a month for a 2 bedroom. There is no way that any apartment is worth $1,500. As much trouble I have with the AI students. I feel sorry that they are being ripped off. One told me that he has barely enough money to pay rent and buy food. He cannot afford utilities. UTI students never last here long because it's just too expansive. Just goes to show you the type of people your dealing with that would charge College students that much money. That is a $200,000 house payment! It's rediculas. The more I learn about Lincoln the less I like them.

Yep, I couldnt have said it better myself. I went through the same thing: a person got shot outside my apt, another got stabbed. The so called gym was vandalized; any mail that looked like it had a check in it was stolen. Maintenance was NEVER done. There were nails poking out so you couldnt walk without looking: we had to hammer them down ourselves. And its funny that apartments like the falls have the nerve to penalize you for leaving after all their issues. However, there are other lincoln properties that are managed better.

You're in a cheap apartment... yes there will be marijuana. You're in one of the largest cities in the US, yes there will be indicents with shootings/stabbings. If you dont like it, move to an apt in Montana and you will probably keep away from these things; just learn to run from bears and moose. Laundry room nightmare is an easy fix... get your own! If you're gonna pay for laundry; go somewhere else. I've lived here since July 06 and those are just things I expect from an apt with 860 sq ft for only $640/month. Go across the street and the same apt is over $830. Laundry facilities shouldnt be used to judge the complex.. and when i've gone to the office, things have been taken care of the same day or the next day. Lincoln Properties is a decent mgmt company; sorry you have had a bad experience when you are stalking the security guy at 2 AM. It seems like it would be a "noise" or "cockroach" issue like the other posters.. and thats why I'm leaving in April; but no you are upset b/c you had to prove you were disabled and there are dirty laundry facilities, and that the security guy has a girfriend. FYI, i was in a kids pizza place in PLANO last saturday... and a man came in with a knife and attacked another guy. You're in the real world, ---- happens.

The Falls at highpoint are not cheap apartments. I pay over $800 a month for a piece of crap and deserve more. Let me guess your one of the witches that works in the front office that will NEVER answer the phone? I wasn't stalking I was coming home from work. There is no excuse for the things that go on here. If you wanna be a Lincoln Property snotty witch than go ahead the rest of them are. Lincoln is the WORST company. Don't rent from them. They charged almost $2,000 to a friend of mine that shipped out to Iraq for breaking his lease one month early. He had no choice. It's not bad enough he has to go to Iraq but Lincoln also had to stick it to him? Lincoln will not treat you fairly or follow fair housing and Americans with disability laws. Move on find someone better than Lincoln. Lincoln Properties idea of security is that crap happens deal with it. They do not care and should be held responsible for the crime on their properties. We pay them to keep us safe and they do not. I do not even feel safe walking my dog. In fact I have never felt safe in any Lincoln owned property because they do not care about the crime that goes on. They do not do anything to try to change the problems with the crime. Their so-called security officers do not answer their phone half the time or asleep in the Club House on the sofa. That is Lincoln Property's idea of security, or they are having sex or smoking weed. The Falls at Highpoint was a waste of money. Chatham Court was a waste of money. Every Lincoln Property I have visited the people are rude and unhelpful. Lincoln Property Company NEVER returns your phone call when you call their main office. They are absolutely no help. Run Away from all Lincoln Properties, unless you like stuck up, rude office people and getting robed with security is off partying.
If your the Office Manager I have requested on several occassions to call me back and never did. I will tell you the same things I have told Suzanna. Oh wait you fired your best employee. She was the ONLY ONE who ever returned phone calls and was any sort of help. Now look at this place it has gone to hell real fast. She was the only employee who got anything done. She cared about the residents unlike you the office manager who is too lazy to call a resident back when there is a problem. Although, this is very typical about Lincoln Properties since they really do not care about the apartments or the residents and thier safety! Just say no to Lincoln Properties.

Students from the Art Institute pay the Art Institute for their housing and it is ignorant to think the high prices they are paying for their apartments don't include the overhead for the Art Institue staff and their oversight. It is their choice to utilize the Art Institute for its housing. While renting through AI may be frustrating it is not a component of The Falls of Highpoint.

Agreed on the last post; there's absolutely no way that a 2-bedroom apt. here is $6000/month (4 people x $1500). The only properties that expensive are the million-dollar condos going up in Updown and near downtown. The Art Institute is obviously the one robbing its students with the overhead on the rent, not the apartment complex.
I've lived here for 10 years, and while I've heard of a few incidents over 10 years, none have personally happened to me and a few incidents in a 700-unit property in one of the biggest cities in America is to be expected. It's much safer here than the area up by Brookhaven College or down Greenville near Park Lane. By the way, if you're trying to call the office, try 972-437-5101; 9 times out of 10 you'll get an answer.

I'm a student at the Art Institute of Dallas, and I find your review of what the "charges" are absolutely hilarious. First of all, I am a student in a 1 bedroom / 1 person. The school charges me approximately $2,700 per quarter, which is 3 months in length. If you break that down, that's $900 a month. I am in the floorplan at The Falls which is $689 a month if I didn't go through the school. If I didn't go through the school, it would be about $150 per month for electric and water. Also, if I didn't go through the school, I would have to supply my own furniture, which would be another expense. If you break it down that way, then I'm actually saving money by living there.

Yes, I must agree with everyone, except the anonymous comment made on january 19. I lived there as a student for a year, and I was paying way too much to live there. They gave me an apartment that hadn't been cleaned from the tenant before! The carpet was a mess, the walls were beige (this was supposed to be after they had renovated the interior of the apartments). Oh and the roaches, OH THE ROACHES! Every potential or new student I speak to, I tell them the same thing: Don't rent with AID, b/C your not just paying for rent/utilities/furniture, your also paying for free rent for some student "ambassadors" and the AID student housing people that live at the Falls rent free! Don't expect them to help you at all with finding an apartment. Do the research yourself and find your own. Please, feel free to message me if your an unsure or concerned parent, or a student who hasn't signed a lease yet, I have stories! LOL.
