Im from Mississippi and before I changed my major to criminal justice I was a media arts student at AID. I moved all the way for southern MS to go to AID b/c I thought it was a good school, I was wrong. From the moment they showed me the unit I'd live in at the falls at highpoint I knew I wasnt goin to be there long, the 1st night there was a shooting and the following week I opened my door one morning to head over to AID and it was a note on my door saying to not leave your apt after night fall b/c some guys were running around the parking lot with knifes robbing people, a lady was stabbed the following night. After that incident I wasnt going to stay at the falls at highpoint but I couldnt afford to move into a apt of my own so I decide for my own safety to leave AID and go back home before I ended up dead. So all and all I was at AID for one month before I broke my lease with the falls and came back home b/c of that I was in debt with AID for 5,800.00 and their holding my transcript until I come up with that money. Really I dont think I should be charge the 2,500.00 for my stay at the fall at highpoint aka the ghetto b/c thats all that is, is the F**kin Hood. My advice if your coming from out of state like I did dont go to AID even if the falls at highpoint are no longer their apt dorms or what ever they called it. Those apt are nothing but a hang out for low live no go pieces of ----, its not a place for college students who are tryna make something out of themselves.

Okay, whoever wrote this review and response should take a minute to research AID and the Falls before you write such garbage about the school. Sure, the Falls suck, hard! I lived there for a year, and couldn't wait to get out. I agree with both of you, they should relocate the students to a safer, closer apartment complex, say somewhere in the Village, at least. But what you speak about AID is totally false and defamatory. Have either one of you even seen what some of these students do? I'm talking about the good students, not the ones that are only there for a quarter. Speaking of leaving the school early, that's probably the real reason you left after a month. You knew you couldn't cut working at such a fast pace, and decided to leave to go to school at DeVry... I'm not defending the Falls, they're terrible ( I mean, a student was murdered there! And, at the time of this writing, they have yet to catch the murderer, her boyfriend is only a suspect), but maybe when your talking trash about an apartment complex, you should leave the people that could potentially help you get out of that hellhole out of your trashtalk!
p.s. I still go to the school, and I'll be graduating soon, with an exceptional GPA.

Ganbatte00, in just a few sentences you've expressed that you are uneducated, aggressive, and narrow minded. I'm not going to claim that I'm a genius, but posts like yours are awful to read. To know that we have such ignorant users who are able to post the first thing that comes to their minds with little to no editing, is embarrassing. I've seen some amazing artwork come from students who attend the Art Institute of Dallas and only wish for people to view their pieces before criticizing the school in its entirety.
I really hope the school relocates their students into safer housing. I've heard many stories of the crimes committed at those apartments and do not believe anyone is really safe there. I feel sorry for the good people living there who can not afford a better, more secure location.

Whatever you dont know anything about me. I admit Iam angry with AID but im not saying that the students there are useless, Ive seen their work and most of them were at least 5 times better than mine but still that school is only after MONEY U will open ur eyes to the true when u are unable to get a job after u graduate. Just look at where they had their students living a cheap, ghetto, gangster filled dump. oh and u dont know what I can handle, u dont know anything about me. I had all my hopes and dreams riding on that school and they got me up there on a cloud of lies. " OH our apt. are top of the line". that was a lie. There are many more things I can say about AID but this is about the falls at highpoint, but if I find a review page for AID please believe I will leave a negative comment jerk.

whoever remarked that i am bitter b/c i failed out of AI and could only opt for DeVry, you're a tad off there... i went to a 4-year school so i never even had to apply to either one of those crappy schools... now if you want to have a d*#k-measuring contest about whose school is better then i've got all day...
and i know you're all butt-hurt about my remarks but i know what i'm talking about... AI is a waste of money... look at job listings on any website and most in the art field require a bachelor's degree in the related arts... AI is equivalent to a 2 year associate's degree...
and i think you should be offended that AI doesn't even have the common decency to make the residence change on their own... how many of their students have to die or witness federal crimes before they get off of their asses?... and THEY are the people who lead your educational institution...
