Steer clear

This apartment complex is ok. Not great, not absolutely terrible, but extremely frustrating. The office staff are nice enough but they seem to be restricted to how much they can actually help. Multiple times they have claimed I have been late paying rent or kept an insufficient balance which is bogus (I have never missed a payment until living here). The office is extremely disorganized and frustrating to deal with. They seem to nickel and dime you, but completely ignore that fact when you bring up the point.

The apartment itself is perfectly fine. Admittedly I am probably a loud neighbor but no one has ever complained. So either the apartments are built well or my neighbors are extremely tolerant. The appliances leave a lot to be desired, but they work.

Parking is a pain. It's already too limited because of covered parking (most people park in two spots) and with their new policy of enforcing visitors to park in specific spots makes it even worse. Do not try to have company over because they will freak out about the potential of having their car towed.

The maintenance staff are prompt, but of the many times I've had to call them they are successful in actually repairing things about 1 in 3 times. This apartment has had a leak around a window since I have moved in, and despite them "repairing" the leak with what I like to call hot glue on the exterior the problem always resurfaces. This is actually causing what appears to be significant water damage to their property but they do not seem to care.

Also, once during a big storm I saw multiple sets of stairs broken off the foundation. Repairs looked unprofessional and one neighbor complained of having nails driven through the living room wall! Using nails to hold up a replacement foundation for stairs seems extremely unsafe to me.

All said the apartments are at best OK. The office staff are nice, but the whole system is tragically flawed. Look elsewhere.
