I'm practically a veteran of this place, and wholeheartedly concur with the other posters on here. I found this website while perusing for a new apartment. If you're male, have no children, and have financial concerns, this is the place for you if you choose to live in Dallas. Yes, in the daytime this place is almost serene, but like a horror film, when it gets dark out, you are best to stay inside.
I actually find the maintenance and office staff to be very friendly and knowledgable, and most maintenance concerns are dealt with expeditiously.
My current concerns are with roaches and the real possibility that there is black mold within these walls. When I first moved here there was no roach problem for several months, but then they have seemed to just take over. I grew up in the woods, so I suppose I'm more "tolerant" of this nuisance. If you're a current resident, set your alarm to 3 a.m. and go into your kitchen and turn your light on and check it out for yourself.
Some people are calling this place "ghetto," and there are some residents who fit this mold. It's not unusual for people driving on Steppington to just drive around our parking lot casing the place(for lack of a security gate perimeter). Otherwise, most of the people living here are hard-working and community and family-oriented. This probably doesn't compensate for the rising crime, pest, and probable black mold.

I am a long term resident and have seen Foxmoor go through a drastic change throughout the last year. Before this new management team Foxmoor was ghetto and run down, I almost moved because of how bad it was. I can now honestly say that I love my home at Foxmoor. Last year I never thought I would have said that with everything that was going on here. The management and maintenance team really care. The manager Nicole does not play and will kick out the trouble makers and bad people (I don't think there are any left though). The first few months with the new management the property lost a lot of residents (because they were bad residents and were being kicked out). There was stuff thrown out on the curbs and everything! Foxmoor was "cleaning house". Since then the people that they have been moving in have been clean cut Americans that work and don't cause any issues.
