I would join the previous reviewers in saying that living in Gables State Thomas Ravello is an overpriced hassle. While you would expect a certain quality of service and personnel for the price you pay at the complex, I have found the management, top/down, to be completely unhelpful. Whenever I have had any problems, they have tried to make excuses, act like whatever happened was not a result of their actions, or reverse blame to the resident.

The parking situation is an absolute nightmare. I have had my car damaged, TWICE. Both times, it was not my fault but through the management's incompetence (and failure to place cameras in the garage), I found myself paying for the damage out of my own pocket.

When I tried to address any issues with the manager, she was either too lazy to roll into the office or completely rude and condescending in addressing the issue.

The apartments are nice and I have not had maintenance entrance problems thus far. The Gables Cares team--effective only because it is run by residents--is a nice touch. However, I would seriously re-think choosing this complex.
